is a newly-renovated
all-in-one racquet, paddle, & fitness club.
We have an interesting past, and an exciting future!
PAST
Pebble Creek used to be an active racquet and social club in Hickory decades ago, with 8 tennis courts and 2 racquetball courts. The original facility opened in 1987. In 1994 the clubhouse burned down and was rebuilt, even using the same stone on the exterior that was salvaged from the fire. The club was sold in 1997. Eventually, the club fell into a state of disrepair.
PRESENT
Gary and Barbara Fulbright saw the potential and purchased the property in January, 2023. They worked tirelessly to bring the club back to life. They began welcoming founding members in July, 2023 with newly re-surfaced tennis courts and pickleball courts and indoor racquetball courts (used for pickleball drilling as well). There’s a Pro Shop, a kitchen & event space, fitness center, locker rooms, and lounge area with large screen TV and ping pong tables, and improvements to the clubhouse continue. There are clinics, leagues, tournaments, and social events as well.

What is PickleWall?
PickleWall is a variation of indoor pickleball played on a racquetball court. The walls are in-play after the ball bounces on the floor. It’s a fast-paced game… a great way to improve your skills and reflexes!

What is Wallyball?
Wallyball is a variation of volleyball played on a racquetball court.
Also called “rebound volleyball”, wallyball can have 2-6 players per side.
